Azerbaijan’s young musicians have conquered hearts of foreign audiences for a long time. Violinist Suleyman Eyyubov graciously represented the country at the International Music Competition in Malta held between July 27 and August 1.
Thanks to his beautiful talents, the young violinist claimed second place in his age category.
Suleyman graduated from the school N21 named after Leopold and Mstislav Rostropovich. The musician is a member of the Children's Symphony Orchestra, led by People's Artist Teymur Goychayev.
This year, he entered the Uzeir Hajibeyli Baku Music Academy.
Earlier in April, Suleyman won first place at the IV International Competition of Performers of Classical Music among the youth of the Islamic world.
He has also participated in many compeitions and musical festivals. The violinist took second place at the national contest for performers of stringed instruments in 2010.
For his peerless skills, Suleyman received diplomas at the 1st International Festival of Schools named after Rostropovich in St. Petersburg in 2012. A year later, he was awarded with diploma at the VIII Junior Delphic Games of the CIS member states in Novosibirsk (Russia) and at the International Children's Art Festival “Pure Colors” in Baku.
