Young Azerbaijani vocalist Yasin Hasanov has performed at the Sanremo music festival in Italy.
At a press conference, Hasanov hailed his performance as a success.
Mother of the young Azerbaijani singer Rena Hasanova said president of the International Children's Festival Paolo Alberti was amazed by Yasin's vocal skills.
"Yasin performed Spanish song "Granada", which earned him a Grand Prix," the singer's mother said.
The festival saw participation of performers from many countries, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Italy, Romania and China.
