The literary event dedicated to the great poet of Turkic World Abdurrahim Karakoch was held in the Rashid Behbudov State Song Theatre, Baku.
The event was organized with the support of the Eurasian International Research Institute Public Union, Culture Counselor of the Turkish Embassy, Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency and the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF).
Public Union’s chair, MP Ganira Pashayeva, ambassador of Turkey Ismail Alper Coskun, members of Turkish Grand National Assembly Selcug Ozdag, Muzeffer Arslan, Azerbaijani MP, Ataturk Centre's director Nizami Jafarov, chairman of Ashugs Union Zalimkhan Yagub, Chairman of the World Turkish Youth Writers Union Akbar Goshali were attending the event.
Speakers at the event stressed the importance of Azerbaijan - Turkey friendly and fraternal relations.
The participants spoke about the poet’s creative activity imbued with love for native land and highly praised his poems about the Turkic World.
The ceremony dedicated to Abdurrahim Karakoch will continue till February 10.
Finally, scientist from Turkey, representatives of Public Union “Eurasian International Research Institute” and Turkish Grand National Assembly were awarded with diplomas.
Family members of Abullah Karakoc and well-known writers of Azerbaijan were also present at the event.
