Azerenergy plans to connect new transmission lines to Shahdag power plant

The Shahdag power plant, which plays an important role in power supply of Azerbaijan’s northern region, generated about 405 million kilowatt-hours of electricity since its commissioning, Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) said.

The station is also designed to provide the winter and summer tourist complex "Shahdag" in the village of Laza, Gusar region with electricity.

All 12 generators of the station operate normally.
