Conference on appraisal activities kicks off in Baku

An international conference entitled "Regulation of appraisal activities. Modern international experience" co-organized by Azerbaijan Society of Appraiser (ASA) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) has today started here.

Chairman of economic policy committee of Milli Majlis, academician Ziya Samadzade delivered report on security legislation of appraisal activities in Azerbaijan.

The conference featured discussions on the role of appraisal activity in the economy, the necessity of self-regulatory organization of appraisers, international associations of appraisers and others.
Representatives of CIS and European countries shared their experience on this sphere.
