SOCAR to increase share in Contract of the Century

Azerbaijan's state oil firm, SOCAR, has said it plans to increase its share in the Contract of the Century.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said the company would buy part of the share of the US` Devon Energy company.

Abdullayev also revealed SOCAR's plans to build a new oil refinery near Petkim petrochemical company in Turkey, which is owned by SOCAR-TURCAS.

He added the project`s feasibility study was already conducted.
