
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) won a tender announced by the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) on the project of demining operations in Georgia.
ANAMA would organize series of training courses for the Georgian field engineers within this project. First group of Georgian field engineers will arrive in Azerbaijan on March 28. The training courses will be held at the ANAMA’s regional base in Goygol region of Azerbaijan.
ANAMA experts will organize 6-month training courses on demining operations for the Georgian field engineers, press service of Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The deal was signed by ANAMA Director Nazim Ismayilov and NAMSA Project Manager David Towndrow on February 16.
