Ukraine-Azerbaijan business forum held in Baku

A Ukraine-Azerbaijan business forum was held here Thursday as part of the Bakubuild international construction exhibition. The forum discussed development of economic ties, increase in number of joint companies.

The event attended by Ukrainian and Azerbaijani officials, businessmen from agriculture, machine-building and other sectors was addressed by representative of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee Jahangir Gojayev, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation Rufat Mammadov and others.

The exhibition showcased goods produced by over 15 Ukrainian companies. The Azerbaijani delegation will also participate in the 30th international construction summit to be held in Kyiv in November. The trade turnover between the two countries hit USD 86 million for the past six months.
