New bridge to be built between Azerbaijan and Iran

The launch of Julfa-Julfa railway was one of the most important issues discussed during my visit, Iran's first Vice President Ali Agamohammadi said at a press conference in Baku. The visit aimed to discuss the bilateral economic cooperation and to fulfill the documents signed in this sphere earlier.

“Generally, my visit was fruitful," he added.

"A new bridge will be built in between two Astaras to connect the Baku-Astara highway to Iran's highway system and to ensure more convenience for travelers. We also focused on appplication of a single window system," the Iranian official noted.
