
The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has applied financial sanctions worth 6,700 manat against ice cream manufacturer "SABA Şirketi", the Ministry said.
A case was filed due to violation of requirements of the antimonopoly legislation. SABA misled consumers by violating the requirements of the law "Fair Competition".
Antimonopoly Service gave instructions to destroy 6.6 tons of ice cream "Eskimo", "Maksima", "XXI esr", "Prestige", "Saturn", "Merkuri", "Domino" and "Lunnie nochi" because of nonconformance to quality and safety requirements.
