Military events to be held in line with plans signed by Azerbaijan with US, Turkey, Bulgaria and Germany

Workshop on intelligence support in the areas of peacekeeping operations will take place on June 8-12, Sergeant training course will be held in Ramstein (June 8-13).
According to the bilateral cooperation plan signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey training on battle readiness and durability will begin in Baku today. According to the plan, free parachuting course will take place in Kayseri (June 1 – July 24), practical exercise on studying tactical technical characteristics of the military equipment will be held in Ankara (June 2-5), exercise on using target planes (June 9-10), Silk-Road-2009 general/admiral workshop will take place in Istanbul on June 22-23.
According to the bilateral cooperation plan signed between Azerbaijan and Jordan, the 2nd meeting of the joint commission on defense cooperation will begin in Amman today. “Visit of familiarization with command, control, communication, computer and information system of Jordan Armed Forces” will take place on June 7-9.
According to the bilateral cooperation plan signed between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, “Tactical English course on peace support operations” will be held on June 1-12; “Course for improving organizational processes” will be held on June 8-12 in Sofia. In accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan signed between Azerbaijan and Germany, workshop on the theme Armed Forces in Democracy – management, education and career structure of the civil staff will take place in Strausberg on June 15-19; expert talks on control over the firearms will be held in Baku on June 29 – July 2. Representatives of Azerbaijani Armed Forces will attend the events.
