Lithuanian Foreign Minister Vigaudas Ushatskas will open Lithuanian Trade House in Baku, Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudzmanas told Trend News on April 3.

"Ushatskas will make an official visit to Baku on April 7-8. During the visit Ushatskas will open the Lithuanian Trade House in Baku," Kudzmanas said.
Ushatskas will meet with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Parliament officials and Energy Minister Natig Aliyev. The prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries will be discussed at the meeting.
The Azerbaijani-Lithuanian business forum will be held with attendance of Ushatskas.
The previous business forum between Lithuania and Azerbaijan was held in Vilnius on Sept. 13, 2007. The forum was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus and other state officials.
In accordance with the state statistics of Azerbaijan, the 2008 trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Lithuania hit $1.929 million, export of Azerbaijani goods to Lithuania was $161 million and import - 31.83 million.
