Azerbaijan, Korea to launch rice production

The Shaki City Administration has met with the South Korean Agriculture Institute delegation head John Kon Chenin to discuss the development of the agrarian sector.

Korean specialists have represented projects to develop the agriculture. The production of rice was the subject of discussions. Korean specialists will continue operating in other spheres of agriculture.

The Shaki City Administration chief Nazim Ibrahimov has informed guests about 120,000 ton of grain production in Shaki in 2008. The goal of Korean delegation's visit is to study the food production market.

"We will study other spheres in the production sphere as well," Chenin added.
