Lithuanian Foreign Minister Vygaudas Ushatskas will discuss energy security cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania in Baku, Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kestutis Kudzmanas told Trend News on March 11.

"Ushatskas will visit Azerbaijan on April 8-9 and the visit will focus on meetings with Azerbaijani officials," Kudzmanas said. "The two foreign ministers will discuss perspectives of bilateral cooperation at a meeting," Kudzmanas said.
During the visit, Ushatskas will discuss some issues on political, economic and energy field, as well as conflicts and energy security issues in the region.
A business-forum will be organized as part of Ushatskas's visit.
Lithuanian delegation comprising officials of ministries and famous companies will accompany the foreign minister during the visit, the ambassador said.
A previous Azerbaijani-Lithuanian business forum took place in Vilnius on Sept. 13 in 2007.Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his Lithuanian counterpart Valdas Adamkus attended the business forum.
Goods turnover between Azerbaijan and Lithuania amounted to $26.26 million in 2008, Azerbaijani export to Lithuania - $5.3 million and import - $20.96 million, the Azerbaijan State Statistic Committee reported.
