30,000 foreign-made medicines officially sold in Azerbaijan

"Everyone could buy any medicine he wants. But the situation will change after that. Only registered medicines will be sold in Azerbaijan", he said and added that the registration will be carried out for the purpose and documents for registration of medicines are demanded.

“After examination in the pharmacology department under the Health Ministry, medicines will be brought to Azerbaijan. 30,000 medicines have been registered by now. Registration of medicines will continue until March 1 of the next year. Only registered medicines will be permitted to the country after March 1,” he noted.

The Minister explained differences between prices of medicines sold with privatization of drugstores.
