Turkey's EurAsia appeals to court to arrest Azerbaijan's airplanes

After the decision, plane of Azerbaijani Airlines was detained in Turkish Istanbul airport. But after the objection of Azerbaijani government's lawyers, the court suspended the execution of the decision because of lack of necessary documents. EurAsia's lawyer filed an appeal against the decision.

A Turkish company demands $ 200,000 from the Azerbaijani government.

The company has been engaged in modernization of accumulators sent from Azerbaijan since 1993. The company being paid for the implementation of the order for three years claims that $ 50, 000 was not paid in 1996. And this debt rose to $200,000 with percent added. If they do not pay debts, the first airplane of Azerbaijan landing in Turkey will be detained.

Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers did not comment on the issue. Azerbaijan Airlines State company refuted the report on arrest of airplane. It said it has no information on Turkish court's decision. APA
