200,000 tons of grain to be shipped to Azerbaijan from Kazakhstan

"Aktau Port's cargo flow mostly includes oil and steel. The shipment flow into and out of the port reached 10mln tons last year," Kazakhstan's Aktau Port deputy Director Dauren Kutpanbayev said.

He added that the port is in the capacity of 12mln tons of oil and 1.5mln tons of dry cargo, APA reports.

He noted that Kazakhstan will ship grain to Azerbaijan via the Caspian Sea to export to the Middle East, the Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea countries onward.

"We are planning to 200,000 tons of grain to Azerbaijan this year," he added.
