Parliament approves Azerbaijani Accounting Chamber's 2006 report

Azerbaijani Accounting Chamber's 2006 Report has been discussed at the sitting of Azerbaijani parliament.

Chief of economic policy commission of parliament Ziyad Samadzadeh noted that the report was discussed in the meeting of the commission.

Samadzadeh stressed that some important measures should be taken for improvement of the activity of the chamber.

The official said the chamber should take measures to expand relations with ministries and other state bodies.

Deputy Chairman of AAC Abbas Allahverdiyev noted that the report covers execution of measures considered in 2006 Action Plan of the chamber, judgment and information, organizing-methodological and technical provision of the chamber's activity, volume, structure and result of taken measures allowed by law.

He said that Accounting chamber conducted 18 audits and many expert events. The chamber held measures in Aztelekom, Keshle Cargo Transportation Station on tax revenues, in Baku notary's offices and RoadTransportService department on customs, in Education Ministry and Azerbaijan Languages University on education fees, in Public Television on teleradio expenditures, in Transport Ministry and Azerenergy OSJC on investment expenditure.

AAC 2006 report was approved after the discussion, APA-Economics reports.
