Thames Insurance to increase nominal capital by 33%

Thames Insurance Company, operating in Azerbaijan, intends to increase its authorized capital by 33.3% in 2007.

Company head office in Baku told APA that the authorized fund of the company rose 20%, year-over-year, to AZN 600,000 as of December 1.

The insurance fees collected by the company fell 7.5%, year-over-year, to AZN 933 900 in January-September. Insurance payment decreased by 15.2% to AZN 90 328 in this period.

Established in 1996, Thames Insurance provides 12 voluntary and 3 compulsory insurance services.
