The prices of foodstuffs rose by 2.1% as against the previous month. The cost of meat products increased by 0.2%, dairy products by 1%, bakery goods and cereals by 2.1%, fish products 2.5%, vegetables by 6.5%, fruits by 8.6%, soft drinks and juices by 1.3%, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and candies by 0.2%, grease and oil by 0.5%. Moreover, the prices of coffee, tea and cacao went down by 0.5%, beer by 0.5%, tobacco products by 0.3%, alcoholic beverages by 1.4%.
State Statistical Committee told APA that the prices of weaving goods and books decreased by 0.1% and 0.2% respectively. The prices of garments rose by 1.1%, clothing by 0.2%, shoes by 0.8%, building material by 1.7%, furniture and household things by 1.1%, household equipment by 1%, small electronics by 1.5%, medicine by 0.2%, toys by 1.1%.
In general, the cost of non-food products increased by 0.8% during this period.
