"Barmek will pay salaries of the employees, however we handed over the collection activities to Bakielectricshebeke on Nov 6. The condition of the electricity system is better than it was when I received it. I would more improve it within 25 years. But, I could renewed it by 20% only," Barmek President Huseyn Arabul told APA.
He also said that Barmek-owned equipment is online now. "The blame shouldn't be laid on Bakielectricshebeke for any sudden electricity outage. Autumn is not suitable time to shut Shimal Thermal Power Plant down for repair. It had to be done a few months ago," he said.
Huseyn Arabul also said that Barmek doesn't owe Azerenergy as reported. "We don't owe Azerenergy. But, State structures owe Barmek AZN 150 000. There is no misunderstanding with Barmek," he underscored.
