Street trade being abolished in Zagatala

24 February 2006 [11:04] - TODAY.AZ
Executive Power, Hygiene and Epidemiology Center and Police Office are fighting against physical people who are engaged in illegal trade in the streets.

As APA reports, about 100 trade stands have been knocked down in the central market, city center, bus terminal and near highways. Residents, who are engaged in illegal trade in these territories, protest these measures.

They say that they want to earn livings but the mayor office sanctions their activities in some territories. Chief of socio-political affairs department of the Mayor Office Ramazan Maayev told APA bureau in Sheki Zagatala that mayor Asif Asgarov instructed to abolish all illegal trade in the region.
