Azerbaijani CEC chairman meets with political adviser for US embassy

On October 13 Mazahir Panakhov, chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of Azerbaijan, met with Robert Garverik, adviser on political and economic issues of the US embassy to our country, reports Day.Az with reference to the Independent press center.

Informing the visitor about the principles of ensuring transparency during preparation and conduction of presidential elections in Azerbaijan, commission chairman Panakhov noted that all conditions, envisioned by the law, have been created for the purpose.

The meeting participants also discussed preparations for elections, mutual cooperation and some other issues.
