Mammadyarov meets US representative at WTO

Minister Mammadyarov in detail has informed the guest on Azerbaijan's importance in region, the ongoing socio-economic processes in the country, large-scale regional economic and infrastructure projects, the care and attention rendered to development of non-oil sector in the republic.

The Minister stressed the measures and negotiations for admission of country to the WTO members.

Ambassador Peter Allgeier said the United States attaches special importance to Azerbaijan playing leading role in region, expressed support for Azerbaijan's WTO membership, stressed necessity of quick implementation of relevant procedures in Republic.
