Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Competitions wrap up in Baku

The 29th Men's Championship, the 8th Azerbaijan Championship and the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championship have ended in Baku, Azernews reports.

A total of 50 gymnasts competed, including 17 women and 33 men, representing the Balakan Olympic Sports Complex, Ojag Sport Club (Baku and Sumgayit branches), Sumgayit City Specialized Children's and Youth Sports Chess School No. 1 of the Olympic Reserve of the Republican Sports Education Center and the Sumgayit Olympic Complex.

The athletes showed their performances in the categories in women's gymnastics - children (born in 2014-2015), juniors (2012-2013), youth (2009-2011), adults (2006 and older), juniors in artistic gymnastics among men (2011-2012), youth (2009-2010), young men (2007-2008) and adults (2006 and older).

On the first day of the competition, the gymnasts performed in the individual all-around, and on the second - on individual apparatus (vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise). At the end, the winners were awarded.
