Refugees and IDPs State Committee Chief Ali Hasanov meets with Italian Ambassador

As APA informs, Ali Hasanov said at the meeting that Italy rendered food worth $1 million 772 thousand in 2000 and 1 million euro in the resent years to Azerbaijan which has over 1 million refugees and IDPs. He also reminded that $2.2 million was allocated within ENI Company's project "Refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan" and Azerbaijan gave this amount to the UN Supreme Commissariat for Refugees.

"The Supreme Commissariat built 377 houses, 2 schools, 2 hospitals, 5 bathrooms 3 kindergartens and so on, drilled 5 artesian wells and repaired 13 km long main water pipeline".

The diplomat said that Italy's proud to have Azerbaijan in the list of friends.
