Southern Azerbaijan in US-Iran relations

According to APA, Mr. Bayoglu stated that national liberation struggle had intensified and Persians made attempts at causing stand off between Azerbaijanis and Kurds because they saw Iran's possible separation.

Such a stand off happened between Kurds and Azerbaijanis in Maku and 7 people died in conclusion. Mr. Bayoglu said that Iran special intelligence bodies arte collaborating with PKK.

"Kurds are armed in the territories where Azerbaijanis live. Northern Azerbaijani government, opposition and social organizations should take stance on the issue. Or otherwise, US will collaborate with Kurds, thus Azerbaijanis will be apart. We will not allow this and will fight till the end. If Azerbaijan is not one of the sides, Kurd state will be established in Iran".

Mr. Bayoglu also said that most of Azerbaijani politicians had committed treason against Turkism.
