Azerbaijan reconstructs two-thirds of Baku-Boyuk Kasik railway

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has launched the next stage of work for reconstruction of the Baku-Boyuk Kasik railway, said the company in a message on November 13.

The message says the reconstruction of the 8-km Zazali-Ganja section started on November 13.

The reconstruction work is expected to last five days.

The project to reconstruct the 600-km Baku-Boyuk Kasik railway started in October 2015.

To date, 400 kilometers of the railway have been reconstructed.
