Azerbaijani karate fighters claim three medals at European championship

Azerbaijani fighters have brought home three medals including a gold from the IKO European Kyokushin and Shinkyokshin Karate Cup held in Kielce, Poland.


Azerbaijan’s gold medal came from Eltaj Humbatov in the men’s 75kg weight category. Turan Shirinov (85kg) and Solmaz Zeynalli (60kg) grabbed bronze medals in the men`s and women`s events respectively.
