FM: Azerbaijan’s joining Islamic Military Alliance not on agenda

Azerbaijan’s accession to the Islamic Military Alliance is not on the agenda of the country’s foreign policy, Hikmet Hajiyev, a spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, told Trend Jan. 9.

“Formerly, different opinions were voiced on this issue within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation,” Hajiyev said. “If there is any suggestion offered, Azerbaijan will carefully look into it.”
