Passenger bus overturns leaving dead - UPDATE - PHOTOS - VIDEO

Collision of a Mercedes passenger bus en route from Gakh region of Azerbaijan with a KamAZ truck, which took place on Friday near the Sederek shopping center, killed two men, the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan told Trend on Friday.

Republican Clinical Hospital named after Academician Mirgasymov told Trend they received 10 people injured in the road accident. Among them are Naiba Aliyeva (30 years), her daughter and son Azerin Alizade (six years) and Umid Alizade (three years), Konul Khasiyeva (35 years), Asli Ahmedly (18 years), Ilgar Abdiyev (35 years), Hajimurad Safiyev (51 years), Narmin Rajabli (16 years), Minaya Badirli (17 years) and Hijran Ahmedova (20 years).

They were injured. Their condition is assessed as moderate. There are no threats to their lives.

Central Clinical Hospital told Trend, four-year-old Javidan Abbasli, who was on the bus was taken to the clinic. After the medical care she was allowed to go home.

The Hospital also said that one of injured in the road accident, Eldar Nahidov, was taken to the Hospital. His left leg was amputated.

The director of the Association of Forensic Medical expertise and Pathological anatomy of the Health Ministry, Professor Shakir Musayev, said the dead, one of whom is an elderly woman, have not yet been identified.

According to witnesses of the accident, the guilty in the accident was the bus driver who crashed into a truck.

A fatal traffic accident occurred in Baku, Main State Traffic Police Office reported. The incident was recorded near Sadarak Trade Centre, in External Ring Road. “Mercedes” passenger bus, coming form Gakh region collided with truck and turned over. As a result of the accident, 2 passengers died and many people were injured.

Baku city State Traffic Police Office told APA that as a result of the accident several people died and about 30 people were injured.
