A conference devoted to the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s regaining its independence kicked off in Batumi, Georgia. The event organized by the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs will draw Azerbaijani and Georgian state and government officials, MPs, representatives of NGOs. The roundtable “Integration of Georgian Azerbaijanis into local community in context of Azerbaijan-Georgia strategic partnership” will be held as part of the conference.
The conference will focus on reforms in economic, political, cultural, tourism fields and state building in the country. The two-day conference and “roundtable” will feature documentaries and cultural events.
