Representatives of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress have visited the city of Chita in Russia where they met with representatives of Buryat and Tuva Republics, Altai, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Transbaikalia regions of Russia.
In the meeting with the chairman of Transbaikalia region`s government Alexander Kholmogorov representatives of All-Russian Azeri Congress noted Transbaikalia, which is home to 126 nations, is a tolerant region.
Kholmogorov invited representatives of the Congress to participate in the Kazak holiday. They also promised to attend a public forum on Siberia in October. The Azerbaijani delegation will hold over 10 meetings as part of their visit.
