An alarm signal was triggered off on May 29 at 07:26 at cafe Atlas located on the street Sverdlov, 118 / 1 Kudymkar city of Perm Region. Arriving at the scene at 04:30, workers the private security department discovered a mass brawl between cafe visitors involving more than 15 people, the Perm region department of the Russian Interior Ministry reported.

According to the report, the fight was stopped with the interference of law enforcement officials after a while. Fifteen persons were taken to the police department to clarify the involved people in the brawl.

As a result of the incident, 6 with various injuries including 3 with penetrating stab wounds were hospitalized. Three of them underwent a surgery who doctors say are in satisfactory condition. Two more people were found injured but they did not apply for medical treatment.

Visitors, who tried to separate the fighters, were also injured. Among them was one of the policemen, who was not on duty, got wounded while trying to help.

The Interior officers determined that the fight started because of Azerbaijani citizen.

While at the pub table and opening a bottle of beer, he poured it on one of the locals. Then, after a verbal quarrel, he tried to beat the stranger who managed to avoid his fist. Striking out the bottle, he caused harm to other locals. This triggered off the mass fight between the visitors of at the café which then continued on the street. The fighters randomly divided into visitors (citizens of Azerbaijan) and local residents who received various injuries including stab wounds.

The person who caused serious injuries was defined. He is an Azerbaijani citizen born in 1981 who has a temporary permission to live in the Russian territory for working purposes. The efforts are currently underway for his search and arrest.

A criminal case was launched into the case, further investigations are underway.
