On 23 of March 2011 Student Societies Awards Night was held at City University London. More than 50 different Societies and Clubs existing at City University London were nominated and only few of them were awarded for their contribution to Students’ Union activities and development, University’s image.
Azerbaijan Society of City University London was awarded as “Best New Society 2010/2011” winning among many other new activities at City. The Society was set up in December 2010 and held series of different events in short period of time.
During his speech Vice-President Activities and Development of City University London Students’ Union Rob Scully stressed Society members’ activity, diversity and interestingness of their events, their commitment and enormous contribution to Students’ Union’s activities and development, friendship creation and City University’s image.
He concluded his speech with wishes of luck and new successful events to Azerbaijan Society members.
