Azerbaijani Consul General to Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov and Vice-Consul Ramil Gurbanov visited Arizona.
Press service of the Consulate told APA that the diplomats attended the seminar organized together with Arizona Chamber of Commerce in Phoenix. The participants exchanged views on the development of non-oil sector in Azerbaijan, including alternative energy sources and new technologies.
Consul General Elin Suleymanov also delivered lectures for the students of Arizona State University in Tampa and University of Arizona in Tucson. The diplomat underlined that Azerbaijan is pursuing independent course, has determined its policy in the field of energy security, regional integration pragmatically, in line with the national interests of Azerbaijani people. Noting that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner, Consul General said the partner countries, including the US should act reciprocally.
The visit of the Azerbaijani diplomats was covered by the local media.
