The first congress of Kazakh Azerbaijanis Association started in Almaty.
The event brought together officials of Kazakhstan government, MPs, workers of art, heads of the cultural centers of Turkey, Russia, Kirgizstan, Germany, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora said.
Kazakh Azerbaijanis Association is a member of Kazakhstan Assembly of Nations. Azerbaijan is represented by head of the department of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fizuli Najafov.
