Azerbaijani universal fighters have brought home a clutch of nine medals in the world championship in Moscow, Russia.
Khayyam Safikhanov won silver medal, while Gahraman Khalafov, Nijat Tagiyev, Yunis Ismayilov and Seymur Guliyev gained bronzes in the classic version fights.
Nijat Tagiyev and Gazanfar Namazov garnered bronze medals in the light version. Azerbaijani female fighter Afag Javadova grabbed silver medals for the country in both events.
The tournament brought together 250 fighters from 47 countries.
