The AIBA 2011 Boxing Championships is underway in Baku. In the 69 kg weight category Leon Chartoi (Sweden) won over Israel’s Konstantin Snigour; Errol Spence (the United States) beat Iran`s Amin Gasemin; Patrick Wojcicki (Germany) won Joseph Mulema from Cameroon and Serik Sapiyev (Kazakhstan) beat Carlos Sanchez from Ecuador. All winners progressed for 1/16 final.
