Azerbaijan national women’s field hockey team have defeated Italy 5-3 in the Group A match of the European Championship in Germany. Azerbaijan will face Spain on Tuesday.
The championship to be held till August 28 is a qualifying tournament for the Summer Olympic Games in London in 2012.
