Azeri chess players Gedir Huseynov and Eltaj Seferli grabbed 7th and 9th places with 6 pts in Nakhcivan chess tournament, dedicated to the 88th anniversary of architect and founder of Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
Ukrainian grandmaster Anton Korobov has won the International Nakhchivan chess tournament, with 7 points.
The Swiss system tournament brought together chess players from China, Hungary, Spain, Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Israel, Belarus, the Netherlands, Russia and Iran.
The total prize fund of the tournament amounts to $ 66500.
