From April 11 to 17, Russian city Kazan will host European Championships on weightlifting.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports reported that Azerbaijan will be represented Elmar Aliyev (56 kg), Sardar Hasanov (69 kg), Namig Jamilov (85 kg), Silvia Angelova (48 kg), Sabina Rzayeva (69 kg) and Rumyana Petkova (75 kg).
Along with the athletes, head coach of the squad Yanko Rusev, coach Ivan Khristov and representative of the ministry Fakhraddin Ismayilov.
