Azerbaijani Greco-roman wrestler Rafig Huseynov weighing in at 74 kg has won gold medal in the European championship in Dortmund, Germany, after beating Hungarian Peter Bachi.
On the way to the final, the Azeri wrestler defeated Spaniard Ricardo Gil Sorli, French Christophe Guenot, Slovenian Yure Kukhor and Turkish Selcuk Cebi.
Other Azeri wrestlers Hasan Aliyev and Shalva Gadabadze garnered bronze medals in the 60 kg and 96 kg weight categories respectively. Azerbaijani Greco-roman wrestlers ranked second in the medal table, behind Russia.
