President of the International Wrestling Federation (FILA) Raphael Martinetti expressed his opinion about the recent successes of wrestling in Azerbaijan while visiting Baku.
"I am pleased to visit Azerbaijan. I came here for the unusual case that occurred in wrestling. Azerbaijanis are recognized as best wrestlers of the world for two consecutive years. It was worth coming to Baku for this,” Martinetti said.
“I am often asked why I love Azerbaijan so much. Why not if your federation has made historic development in our field of sports?" FILA president added.
