World Youth Kickboxing Championship under WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organizations) version will start in Belgrade, Serbia. Azerbaijan will be represented by 29 athletes. Among them are Ramil Hasanov (63 kg), Master of Sport, 2-time world champion, European champion and 2-time champion of Azerbaijan and European Championship 2009 finalist Ruslan Musayev (42 kg).
Azerbaijani team began preparations for the World Cup two months ago. Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation Guloglan Jabbarov and head of the team Sadig Bagirov left for Belgrade together with the team.
