FIDE has released its latest top ten list, ranking Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov 8th with 2,756 points.
Another Azeri grandmasters Teymur Rajabov, Vugar Hashimov and Rauf Mammadov are 13th, 26th and 80th respectively.
Norwegian Magnus Carlsen tops the list with 2,826 points, and is followed by Bulgarian Veselin Topalov with 2,803 and Indian Viswanathan Anand with 2800 points.
