Azerbaijani servicemen will participate in the 27th World Military Championship, which is to bring together wrestlers from 131 countries in Lahti city of Finland, from August 12-15. In the freestyle event Azerbaijan`s squad will include Ceyhun Aliyev weighing in at 55 kg, Agahuseyn Mustafayev at 60 kg, Elmir Gambarov at 66 kg, Ashraf Aliyev at 74 kg, Haji Alidjanov at 84 kg and Mehman Imanguliyev at 96 kg.
In the Greco-Roman event Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Taleh Israfilov at 120 kg and Elbrus Mammadov at 74 kg. Azeri referees Nazim Alidjanov and Huseynaga Alasgarov will also officiate at the tournament.
