Azerbaijan's national wresting team have beaten the United States 5-2 in a traditional friendly encounter as part of the Golden Grand Prix tournament in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The Azeri squad included Mahmud Magomedov (55 kg), Zelimkhan Huseynov (60 kg), Jabrail Hasanov (66 kg), Chamsulvara Chamsulvarayev (74 kg), Sherif Sherifov (84 kg), Khetag Gazumov (96 kg) and Tokhtar Temrezov (120 kg).
The US' squad included Angel Escobedo (55 kg), Shon Rondell Banch (60 kg), Brent Harold Metkalf (66 kg), Travis Eugene Paulson (74 kg), Jacob John Herbert (84 kg), James Daniel Bergman (96 kg) and Les Sigman (120 kg).
