Azerbaijani football club "Garabagh" has not yet left for Northern Ireland which will host the first match of the second qualifying round of European League against Portadown.

The team is still in Baku. The club was to be leave for the United Kingdom two days ago.

The club does not experience visa problems.

“Garabagh” manager Asif Asgarov says the problem lies with the UK Department for Transport.

“The Department for Transport said it will respond to us within 48 hours. But we have not received any feedback yet,” he added.

Meanwhile, Belfast airport has already given permission for the team’s charter to land.

Asgarov said UEFA supports the FC in this issue. “UEFA is doing its best to help us. If things go well, we will leave for Belfast today and from there we will go Portadown on a bus.”

“Garabagh”-‘Portadown” encounter will take place on July 15.
