The FIFA has released another rating list of national football teams.
Azerbaijan's national team ranks 109th with 251 points while it ranked 114th a month ago.
This is the best result since German coach Berti Vogts has headed the national team.
Among the Group A of Euro 2012qualifying tournament, the Azerbaijani national squad takes the place last but one outperforming Kazakhstan (127th place, 190 points).
The German team leads the rating being followed by Turkey (41, 739), Austria (56, 567) and Belgium (68, 491).
Azerbaijan’s teams ranks ahead of teams of the former Soviet Union outtrippig Georgia (124, 200), Kazakhstan (127, 190), Tajikistan (128, 176), Turkmenistan (130, 167) and Kyrgyzstan (161, 95).
The Azerbaijani squad ranks 45th among European national teams ahead of Faeroes, Georgia, Luxembourg, Kazakhstan, Malta, Liechtenstein, Andorra and San Marino.
Tajikistan’s team was the best of the month improving ranking by 20 positions. The worst result is that of North Korea (-17).
